First up, Kristen tells us why she thinks Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 film, POINT BREAK, is totally radical and should be considered one the greatest movies of all time.

According to Kristen, POINT BREAK is not just one of the most influential action movies of the 90s, it’s also a sensitive portrayal of blossoming intimacy between a pair of beautiful men in wet suits.

https://arquine.com/q2j708f21b9enter site :::SPOILER ALERT:::: I would like to applaud Lady P for sticking to her guns and giving this a “no”. Any drama film that accidentally induces laughter is a failure, if you are laughing “at” the movie instead of with the movie – not good. To put it on the same level as Steve McQueen’s “Bullitt” is misguided. I understand the presenter’s love of this movie but it is pure Millennial nostalgia that clouds their reasoning. People don’t attend those Hollywood Point Break sketches like they are readings from Chaucer, they put them on for laughter. 90% of the viewers of this film are watching it for irony, 9% are 13 year olds who think it is a cool action film and 1% left over are the people in this podcast.
